Our story begins in 1998 when shopping for Hanukkah gifts Nancy stumbled upon a dreidel bag at a quaint toy store in Oak Brook, Illinois. Intrigued by its unique design, she purchased it for her children, and year after year, it became an integral part of their holiday celebrations.

As Nancy's family grew and expanded, she embarked on a quest to find more dreidel bags for her children's spouses and grandchildren. However, despite her tireless search, she couldn't find anything that even remotely resembled the original bag that had captured her heart.

Then, amidst the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic, an idea sparked in Nancy's mind. Though lacking the necessary skills, she decided to replicate the beloved dreidel bag herself. Armed with an embroidery machine and stacks of vibrant felt, she embarked on a creative journey. However, it soon became apparent that the task at hand surpassed her abilities, and she reluctantly abandoned her endeavor.

It was during a family gathering two years later, filled with frustration at not having a darling dreidel bag for the occasion, that Nancy found a solution. She purchased an ordinary store-bought stocking and skillfully transformed it into a uniquely Jewish creation. In this moment of ingenuity, she thought of her friend Jennifer, an Optometrist by day and an exceptionally talented creative in her scarce spare time.

Jennifer's artistic vision brought Nancy's idea to life. With meticulous attention to detail, she beautifully customized the bags, adding a personal touch that made them truly one-of-a-kind. The names adorning each sample bag in our shop represent Nancy's entire family, a testament to the joy and love infused into every creation.
